CLI partners with Leadership Institute of Nigeria for USAID Project

Civic Life International Inc and its West-African.-based partner, The Leadership Institute of Nigeria has initiated talks with the USAID for a joint civic engagement and leadership training mechanism to address  the need for communication and collaboration between and among Local Government officials, Public-Private Sector, Faith based groups and elected officials in Plateau State, Nigeria . Under the new U. S. Government (USG) Foreign Assistance Framework Objective Governing Justly and Democratically, the  initiative will (a) equip and prepare elected leaders and public-private participants with the skills to connect with the issues of conflict mitigation and good governance in ways that citizens care about them. (b) Strengthen the capacity of Civil Society members, religious and traditional leaders to articulate concerns and find connections for and with private sector, LGA and State government’s policies for the public good.
